Last night, I went to a business networking and social mixer event at the Erotic Heritage Museum here in Las Vegas.  Wow, what an experience LOL.  Did you know that there was porn available back in 1915 in the silent movies?  They show a clip of it from back then.  Did you know that peep shows date back over 1,000 years and puppets were used in pornographic skits back then instead of live people?  Hmmmm, that is probably where the hit Broadway musical Avenue Q got its idea!  Anyways, it was a very interesting evening and I met a couple people to do some future projects with.

I say this to remind everyone, that in these rough economic times, one has to broaden your thoughts on typical marketing and look at the obscure avenues to help drum up business.  I do admit that last night’s venue for this event was a bit out in left field, but then this is Las Vegas where sin is the norm.   Just remember that marketing is everything, and everything is marketing when it come to sustaining and/or growing your business.  No matter where you happen to be going, always have a stack of business cards with your website on it to hand out.  That includes Walmart or the Erotic Museum.  YOU are the image of your company and you always need to be thinking marketing, marketing, marketing in every and all occasions.
